Editing and writing

Pricing is based on time or space, depending on the type of project. By-time rates start at $175 per hour, with flat fees negotiable for long-term projects.

By-space editing rates start at $200 per magazine page equivalent (2–3 front-of-book stories or about 600 words). Writing starts at $1.50 per word and increases based on complexity of research and reporting.
